Item Description
Lot of six figural pins four painted plaster and two metal; chrome-plated heavy die cast metal and one stamped brass remains on illustrated card. Brass is by Stevana Creations and © UFS. Card is aged and show some lt. wear. VF. Scarce as carded. All 1940s. Plaster pin measure approx. 2" tall. Two are same design in two different colors. Exc. Other two are similarly painted, but slightly different designs. These show some scattered wear and are VF. Pins come w/2.75x3.5" hinged plastic case that contains mirror and plastic comb. Front has heart-shaped decal w/"Daisy-Mae & Shmoo" name below, both characters seen in decal by "Dogpatch USA" sign. This is a souvenir from the theme park of the same name, opened in 1967. Mirror is loose inside and case is evenly aged. VF. Barry Lutsky Collection.
