Item Description
Original 4.5x11x3" deep cardboard box w/illustrated lid (featuring "Pan American" plane, though this has been partially obscured as printed) contains 9.5" long tin litho airplane w/11" wide wingspan. Made in Japan by unknown manufacturer, mid to late 1950s as DC-7 passenger plane only flew 1953-1958. Box has inward warp to lid w/some corner creases and corner tip wear. Fine/VF. Plane has "United" markings on fuselage, tailfin and separate wings w/friction engine that partially spins separate metal propellers. White portion of fuselage has moderate aging and some scattered paint nicks/scratches. Fine overall.
