Item Description
14-1/16x21-1/16" first and only printing poster sleeved by CGC, for April 11-13, 1968 concerts at the Fillmore Auditorium in San Francisco, CA featuring Big Brother & the Holding Company, Iron Butterfly and Booker T & The MG's. Poster design by Patrick Lofthouse incorporates Tom Weir's photo images of Big Brother & The Holding Company in a star pattern w/Janis Joplin at its top tip. Though Booker T & The MG's were scheduled to play this concert, they pleaded w/concert promoters to pull out so they could attend the funeral service for Martin Luther King Jr., who had been assassinated a week prior.
