Item Description
8.5x12.75" single-page contract dated Nov. 16, 1965. Contract is between Hoyt "Dr. Bop" Lock, disc jockey of Milwaukee, WI radio station WAWA and Otis Redding Show & Band for two shows at the Million Dollar Ballroom in Milwaukee, WI on Jan. 20, 1966. First page has "AGVA Standard Form Of Artists Engagement Contract" at top along w/handwritten "Otis Redding Copy" notation. This sheet has been boldly signed in black felt tip pen by Redding at bottom (along w/DJ, who has signed in blue ink). Top margin has staples holes and small stain at top left. Horizontal fold just above perforated line at bottom, fold crossing Redding's signature, but not obscuring it in any way. Fine overall, though signatures remains VF/Exc. for display. Comes with Hake's COA and Roger Epperson/REAL LOA.
