Item Description
Candidates last names at top w/ornate frame at center featuring a perched eagle and text "Old Hillsborough County Convention, Francestown, Oct. 24, 1840." This would have been worn by those attending the convention from the town of Deering, NH. Slogan at bottom "Our Cause Is Just; Our Union Is Perfect." Fabric loss at top center, scattered light brown staining throughout that affects the central design minimally and a horizontal fold affecting the text "20, 1840." VG. Rare.
