Item Description
28.25x39.75". c. 1942 offset litho w/"US Government Printing Office" at bottom left and "Poster A-25 War Production Drive Headquarters, WPB Washington D.C." at bottom right. This was the first of the posters designed by Shahn during his World War II service w/the Office of War Information. Three each horizontal and vertical folds as issued. A single clean pin hole in each corner, four pieces of cloth archival tape on reverse are remnants of past professional framing, minor wear at junctions and light toning. Exc. A powerful poster w/a brilliant range of colors.
