Item Description
29" dia. w/"Hulme Adv. Elberton, GA" at bottom. Center features a silhouette of the state of Georgia w/text "Out Of Debt." Cloth edges w/six cloth flaps on reverse once joined by a rubber band (now brittle/incomplete) designed to cling to a spare tire for display on the back of a car. Vertical creases of 19" and 17" that break the surface paper at right and a 2" tear at top center that has been stabilized on reverse w/cardboard. Otherwise moderate handling and surface wear consistent w/light use. VG. It's unlikely many of these were produced and given the construction and materials it's unlikely many survived. This is the first example we have encountered of this appealing and rare campaign item.
