Item Description
1.5" button without back paper and without maker's name issued likely in the early 1930s. Grange was the first football superstar, also see previous button which relates to his amazing performance during his 1924 college year. This button was likely issued during his 1929-1934 years with the Chicago Bears. This marvelous photo captures him with determined look on his face as he runs full speed towards the camera clutching the football in the crook of his left arm. Although the background detail in the photo is in soft focus the full figure of Grange in action is incredibly sharp and detailed. Button has almost no surface wear and full gloss. NM displaying Mint. The only example known to us.
