Item Description
1.75" with back paper naming local maker "Torsch & Franz Badge Co." We estimate this button as from the 1930s as this backpaper design matches that which appears on some select presidential campaign buttons of the same decade. Oriole perches on a tree branch with surrounding text "Junior Boost Orioles/April 17, Opening Day." A single faint 1/8" grey spot above the bird and the slightest bit of grey tone showing on the extreme rim edges primarily at 3 and 9 o'clock. Button has almost no surface wear and retains full gloss. Only example we've seen. VF.
