Item Description
Pair of Planters store advertising signs. Single-sided 14x22" thin cardboard sign has classic image of Mr. Peanut motioning to "Planters Nut Department - Serve Yourself - Pay Cashier" text. 1950s. Some lt. corner tip wear (w/small tear at upper left) but VF overall. Scarce. Single-sided 12x20" glossy sign from 1960s sales promotion advertising "Planters Lenten Specials" and shows Mr. Peanut pushing shopping cart filled w/Planters products including Planters Peanuts, Creamy Peanut Butter and Oil. Circle for price and marquee at bottom both remain unused. Sign has some minor handling wear but is clean and Exc.
