Item Description
9x11x3.5" deep window box w/stamped label area reading - "MGM's Dr. Kildare." 1960s. Box lid has cellophane window intact and shows some lt. wear. Lid has some corner tip wear and inked price by stamped label. Box is Fine/VF overall. Contained within is size medium (8-10), two-piece rayon costume w/vinyl piping and foil cardboard doctor's head mirror (w/ribbon). Top features silk-screened design that includes photo image of "Dr. Kildare" star Richard Chamberlain as well as medical instruments and MGM copyright. Costume is unworn w/original tag intact. Fabric has slightest even aging but costume is o/w Exc. Thin, vacuform plastic mask bears a distinct likeness to Chamberlain and has two tiny splits at holes where original elastic string is attached (this appears to be as made) and mask is o/w NM. Old store stock. Rare TV costume.
