Item Description
15.5x22-1/8" thin artboard w/India ink original art by "Tillie The Toiler" creator Russ Westover. Art is for Sept. 15, 1946 and features eight panels (including title panel), w/additional "Tillie Cutouts" panel w/full figure image of Tillie and two outfits to cut out for her. Story deals w/Tillie and Mac almost getting married, stopping at justice of the peace, only to discover a secret Hollywood wedding taking place. This causes Tillie to postpone the wedding to cover the scoop. Westover has signed last panel, which has King Features Syndicate copyright strip. Back has printer's stamp. Art is Exc.
