Item Description
5.5x21.25" thin artboard w/India ink original art by "Blondie" creator Chic Young. Art is for Nov. 23, 1935 and features four panels, w/Baby Dumpling climbing up couch and onto mantle. Daisy the dog witnesses this and runs to the kitchen, barking at Blondie, who follows to see Baby Dumpling shouting from mantle. Young has signed last panel. Second panel has King Features Syndicate copyright strip. Back has a bit of penciling and front top margin has some pencil notations. Each panel has shading accents, which have loosened and fallen off over the years, leaving glue residue behind. This is not too distracting and art still displays VF.
