Item Description
3.5" with unusual concave brass back plus bar pin. Minor tarnish on the brass. Front has somewhat off-center to the top crisp real photo with text "For Mayor William O'Dwyer".  Margins include pair of "V" for Victory symbols along with Morse code for letter "V". O'Dwyer lost to LaGuardia in 1941, joined the U.S. Army and became a brigadier general, and returned to civilian life receiving  Tammany Hall support for the Democratic nomination thus easily winning the Nov. election. He was the 100th Mayor of New York City.
Trivial surface wear in reflected light. Exc. and displays Mint as made. Scarce.
