Item Description
Each is 1.25" the first with back paper by Chicago maker J.B. Carroll and the second without a back paper but with curl naming maker American Artworks. Both buttons include the text "The Round-Up/Let 'er Buck". This famous event began in 1910. The first button in this group from two years later in 1912 saw the championship go to future cowboy movie star Hoot Gibson while the second button from 1913 was the first time a night show was added to the program under the title "Happy Canyon Pageant" depicting Native American life prior to white settlement. Both buttons are rare and NM displaying Mint. See following related lot.
