Item Description
5" long 5" tall overall. Made in Germany, c. 1915. Rabbit and Doctor Pill are hand-painted composition. Both the rabbit and Doctor Pill have separate heads; the rabbit's (w/glass eyes) is lid to candy container and Doctor Pill's is attached via metal spring as nodder. Rabbit shows lt. wear and is VF overall. Doctor Pill shows wear to insides of legs w/glue and some flaking of surface material. VG overall, but still makes for nice display when seated on rabbit. Happy Hooligan and Foxy Grandpa versions were also produced. Rare and first we've seen of this variety in our 50 years. Gary Selmonsky Collection.
