Item Description
14.25x16.25" framed and double-matted hand-painted sericel features great scene of Merrie Melodies/Looney Tunes characters Clarence the Cat holding back Sylvester from grabbing Tweety Bird, holding up sign that reads "Remember! You're A Member Of Birds Anonymous." This cartoon won the Academy Award for Best Animated Short Film in 1957. Sericel was sold exclusively at Warner Bros. stores as part of their "Masters Collection." Hand-numbered 533/750 at lower left. Sericel has been signed in black felt tip pen in lower left by "Birds Anonymous" director Friz Freleng, an animator, cartoonist, director, produced and composer best-known for his work w/Warner Bros. ©1994 Warner Bros.
