Item Description
1-5/16" with gold and brown inscription surrounding domed center holding browntone photographic portrait. Tin reverse has horizontal pin and embossed text "American Tinplate Made By Norton Bros. Chicago". Only very tiny dots of paint missing from extreme front edge. A harbinger of the celluloid covered button introduced four years later. Exc. Leon Rowe Collection.
