Item Description
First is 8.5 x 11.25" four page invitation (printed only on front cover) from Inaugural Committee to attend. Normal even age tone o/w Mint. Comes with glassine sleeve (chips off top edges) and Bastian Bros. backing card which holds 1.5 x 6.5" ribbon badge. Heavy "Inaugural Committee" bar pin with blue ribbon holding large 1.75" brass medallion showing inaugural logo and names "Kennedy" and "Johnson". Four union bugs on reverse. Ribbon has gold text naming the event "1789-1961/ 44th Inaugural", their names and date. This badge went only to members of the Committee. NM.
