Item Description
8.25x10-7/8" softcover w/224 pages is later printing of "Pumping Iron: The Art And Sport Of Bodybuilding" by Charles Gaines and George Butler. Published by Simon and Schuster, ©1974. Book focuses on the bodybuilding sport as well as focusing on competitions, such as the Mr. Universe and Mr. Olympia competitions. Of note, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Lou Ferrigno are featured heavily, as well as featuring other famous bodybuilders of the era. This book inspired a docudrama of the same name in 1977. Title page has been inscribed/signed in black felt tip pen "To Shelley" by Arnold Schwarzenegger. Book has some scattered handling wear w/.5" split at bottom of spine and moisture staining at lower left corner (which is only really noticeable to inside front/back covers). Fine/VF overall, though Schwarzenegger's signature remains clean and displays Exc. A very desirable Schwarzenegger signed item. Comes with Hake's COA and JSA LOA.
