Item Description
The first three are brass about 1-1/16" while the fourth is copper and 1-1/8". All four obverses are similar with Fremont's full name along with "Free Soil & Free Speech". #8 names "Wm. Dayton" on the reverse. Nice luster and VF. #9 reverse reads "United States of America". Near uncirculated.  #10 reverse is same as #9 except with "31.S" at bottom. Exc. Last is #11, a bit larger than the others and in copper. Rev. says "United States Of America" with three tiny designs (cinquefoil) along bottom edge. Some smoothing of details. Fine. DeWitt notes this variety was unknown to Satterlee and Bushnell and is much rarer than #9 and 10 ( and #8 as well). All four known varieites.
