Item Description
7/8" complete with W&H paper. Hake #2048. Smith became Governor of New York in 1918 and on May 4, 1919 the first legal Sunday baseball game was played in NYC. This button would be from his unsuccessful 1920 governor campaign which he lost in the GOP landslide of that year. Once slightly domed surface has been flattened. Minor surface wear. Exc. Very limited issue.
