Item Description
Sizes are 1.25" to 1.75". Three largest in the group name "Cooke Opera House Stock Co." which was located in Rochester, NY opening in the 1880s. The pictured stars are Florence Busby, L.E. Conness, Tommy Shearer. Other names are H. Brenon, Ruth Everett, Minna Phillips, Baby Lil, and a pair for "Star Of Vaudeville" strong woman and trapeze artist "Charmion". These last five buttons are all real photo without dot pattern. Final button in the group shows bizarre man in tuxedo beneath caption "The Hoo Of The Howl Man". This carries a Bastian back paper in use 1907-1920 and if anyone has any information on this we would appreciate hearing it to solve a decades long mystery. All buttons are clean and Exc. to Mint. All from pages 78-79 of CPB book. Comes with Hake's COA.
