Item Description
1952 complete set with each brass band holding a large flexible rubber 3-D head with painted accents. A metal rod runs through the head and has a pair of plastic balls on the ends to twist and thus make the facial expressions move. Ring bands are smooth with dull brass finish as these were not produced with high luster. Bands have a couple darker dots on the brass but this is very minor. Most importantly the faces are extremely clean and with only a minimal bit of age soiling. The paint on the items is around 95% complete. There are two small defects. On Crackle a tiny bit of rubber is missing from the tip of his nose and on Snap the back half of the plastic ball on the top rod is missing. Remaining half is firmly attached and the rod can be turned to create movement of the face. This is a scarce set seldom found this clean.
