Item Description
2.75x7" card w/five tabs, three lithos and two cello buttons. Of particular note is button "6." This unlisted cello jugate features a portrait of running mate Earl Warren in the left prominent position. Reverse has label showing prices for bulk orders of 1000 including "Cell #5 & 6 1000 @ 19.00" If the jugate was ever ordered in such quantities we would be surprised given the very few we have encountered in our 50 years. Also of note, this is only the third example of this sales card we have seen. Card has moderate handling wear buttons and tabs remain Exc. to NM. A fascinating and rare artifact that gives a peek behind the curtain of the inner workings of the campaign button business in 1948. Ron Koot Collection.
