Item Description
3-3/8x4-5/8" die-cut card w/attached and sealed plastic bag containing three different plastic base flicker/flasher rings by Macman Enterprises, Inc. c. 1966. Card has Marvel copyright and front shows portrait images of characters rings were produced for. These include - Spider-Man, Incredible Hulk, The Thing, Iron Man, Thor and Captain America. Card also has full body bw image of Spider-Man which is featured again on back in color and is designed to be cut out as a standee. Macman sold these rings in single ring packs for 10¢ and in a three pack for 29¢, both on cards marked "2 Complete Rings - 2 Super Heroes!!!" as cards were used for other rings. The cards all had "Only 10¢" price circle at top right w/the three packs having a sticker w/price placed over top. Sticker has fallen off this example, w/some lt. even staining left behind. Card shows some scattered handling wear w/minor creases and sliver of surface paper off header at pricing circle. Fine overall. Rings are variety w/thick silver plastic base w/notch. Rings feature two different designs, featuring The Fantastic Four and Namor the Sub-Mariner, a character not pictured on packaging. Third ring features "Marvel Super-Heroes Ring Club" design that shows Spider-Man, Captain America, Thor and Human Torch. The flicker to this ring has come loose but o/w rings are Exc. as packaged. Rare three pack.
