Item Description
The aviation buttons are 7/8" to 1.75" while the single moon landing button is 1.75" plus its 4" ribbon. The Charles Levine button is from 1929 while the remaining nine aviation buttons are from the 1930s with those picturing General Balbo related to the Chicago 1933 World's Fair. In row 2, last button relates to achievements of Soviet fliers. In the bottom row, three buttons relate to the flight of 'Wrong Way' Corrigan. Buttons picturing Polando and the first button picturing Corrigan are real photo buttons. All the aviation buttons appear on page 248 of Collectible Pin-Back Buttons and the space exploration button appears on page 254. All are Exc. to Mint. Numerous rarities. Comes with Hake's COA.
