Item Description
9x12x1" deep (now flattened) cardboard box contains 8.5" dia. spinning wheel game w/central Bakelite plastic post. Sound Spelling Co. 1951. Box features illustration of "The World's First Painless Speller For Kids From 5 To 90" that was available for 49¢. Box has been flattened w/top flap loose but included. Top right has 1" tear. VG/Fine. Game features great sci-fi graphics of flying saucers hovering over "Flying Saucer Control" building as spaceman waves. Game works by spinning wheels and matching up spellings w/die-cut window wheel. Slight aging to back but o/w Exc. Scarce w/box.
