Item Description
Original illustrated cardboard window box contains 3-1/8" tall vinyl wind-up figure by Gund Mfg. Co., ©1967 J. Swedlin Inc. Gund did NFL dolls and puppets as well in 1967, but this series of 16 wind-ups is very rare. Box features San Francisco 49ers specific art, including helmet and prospector mascot. Box shows moderate handling wear w/scattered creases and faint moisture staining at bottom w/.75" crack to window edge. Box is VG. Wind-up is in team colors w/"SF" helmet logo stickers (and stripe sticker) and "San Francisco" label on front. Helmet stickers have moderate aging. Some trace oxidation to metal base, but toy works. Fine overall.
