The first AFL-NFL World Championship Game in professional American football (known retroactively as Super Bowl I) was played Jan. 15, 1967 at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum in Los Angeles, CA between NFL champions Green Bay Packers and AFL champions Kansas City Chiefs, w/the Packers defeating the Chiefs 35-10 (w/final score inked on title page). Cover features photo of sculpture by Jean Isaacson and cover folds out to reveal George Bartell painting of the game. Program features the usual, w/team rosters, and 1966 stats and news as well as coverage of other pro teams and copious advertising. Moderate cover wear w/heavy pinch creases to spine and some corner tip wear. Fine overall. Desirable and historic football program.
