Item Description
1-7/8x5". c. 1896. Brass frame w/card stock insert featuring over under jugate and text "McKinley/ Hobart." Designed to attach to the front of a keppi cap for use in torchlight parades popular during the era. Frame has moderate toning and cardboard has scattered light brown spots and handling wear. Fine. This 1896 campaign artifact is the plate example of the very first item in the first Hake book Encyclopedia Of Political Buttons.
