Item Description
Sizes are about 1" up to a single 3.5" button. Group begins with a pair of Philadelphia items and these are the only two in the group with a little touch of stain on the rims. First shows a pair of well-known local "WFIL" radio announcers. Second shows hockey player "Joe Watson". Next are metal wings with clutch back. Front text is "60 Win Season Detroit Red Wings" and this comes with its original plastic case. Next is 1965 "Speed Skating Championships" button followed by enamel on brass pin for a 1951 "Ladies" curling group. All items in row two relate to water sports with the third from 1950 having some scattered surface scratches. Row three first item is also "Hydroplane" related. Next are a pair of track medals with the first specifying on the reverse "100 Yds. Run 1926" This is gold filled and the lid to the box is loose but included. Second has front text "Norwegian Nat. League" with reverse inscribed "1st/Sack Race 1914". A name is lightly scratched below and this piece is also "Gold Filled". Dust on the ribbon. Next is a miniature "King/Brunswick" bowling pin followed by a second wooden pin with black ball that serves as a key fob. Last enamel pin in this row is inscribed "Nebraska Women's Bowling Assoc./Cornhusker." Row 4 items relate to Police Athletic League or relate to tennis with the earliest item being a 1928 "Tennis Permit." Fifth row buttons relate to rod/gun club, bow hunters and three related to fishing. Bottom row is a pair of State Of Washington Resident Hunting-Fishing license. The first with 1949 "Migratory Bird Hunting Stamp" and the second with a stamp from 1952. Exc. to Mint except as noted.
