Item Description
Large 9.5x47.5" tin litho sign for display in Kroger grocery stores. 1950s. Kroger's famous elephant mascot Toppie the Elephant was used on all types of promotion pieces and items such as the very rare lunchbox. Sign reads "We Give Top Value Stamps" and includes two images of "Top Value Stamps" mascot Toppie on front. Sign shows obvious wear w/dents, scratches and corner creases showing some bare metal. Margins show wear w/some trace oxidation. VG overall.
