Item Description
11" tall (to top of hat's flowers) velveteen hand puppet produced by Steiff, 1932. Steiff produced two versions of their Mickey Mouse hand puppets, one w/pants and one w/o. This example is an example of the pantsless Mickey (w/stuffed head) that has been altered by a skilled seamstress, who long ago added a fabric print apron and hat w/velveteen flowers as well as added drawn-on eyelashes to modify this Mickey into Minnie Mouse. Puppet has even aging w/some wear to velveteen on upper chest and is complete w/original oilcloth pie eyes. Fine/VF overall. A unique and interesting item.
