Item Description
Striking California state colors of bright yellow and dark blue enclose Nixon photo with curl naming maker as Trimble, Pittsburgh. Easel back is unused. Back bar pin created raised bump as made on top right of Nixon's hair along with a very shallow .5 x .75 dent above that. Also, below the raised bump, is .25" indent/cello rub caused by a pin from another button. In reflected light a vertical hairline 3" long crosses forehead and nose and also in reflected light a light scuff line goes mid-chin 3" towards lower right. These defects sound much worse than they appear. We will call this Fine but there is no stain, full gloss and for practical purposes this jumbo button displays at least Exc. Leon Rowe Collection.
