Item Description
First at 2.25" from early 1900s has near microscopic crazing of the silvering but silvering remains near 100% intact. Couple tiny and light age dots on the reverse curl but the cello front is essentially Mint. Depicted with a chamber pot beneath the footboard inscribed "Souvenir Baltimore Home Coming" is scene of happy couple in bed with the man tickling the woman under her arm. Both have wide grins. First we've seen. Exc. and displays Mint. Second is 1.75" mirror with tiny dots off the silvering but 98% complete. Pictured is real photo of a man seated on the back of an elephant in harness and with some sort of fabric head decoration. Surrounding text is "Past Grand Monarch, Ed Schmid/Miami Beach, Florida." Celluloid surface has numerous but very small scratches along with tiny pinpoint scattered dots of what seem to be minute silver flakes. Both the scratches and dots show primarily under magnification. There are a pair of tiny 1/16" shallow cut marks on extreme edge at 9 o'clock. Overall Fine and unusual is an understatement. Both are first we've seen.
