Item Description
Original illustrated cardboard box contains 4x7x10.5" tall tin litho toy w/built-in key. Marx, ©1946 Walt Disney Productions. Box features images of both Donald Duck and Goofy. Box is incomplete w/end flap and one inner flap missing on one end w/moderate tape repair to remaining inner flap. Good overall, but main panels remain nice for display. Goofy figure is attached to base by metal rod and top of base features images of him and Donald. Additional images of Mickey Mouse and Pluto on back. Next to this is smaller drum w/tin litho Donald standing on top holding drumsticks. Goofy's black rubber ears are original and have hardened w/age but are complete. Toy works and Goofy dances about as Donald drums. Toy is evenly aged w/scattered tiny paint nicks/scratches, w/wear to drum surface from Donald striking it w/metal drumsticks. Sill a VF example of this classic Disney wind-up.
