Item Description
3.25x6x7-3/8" tall solid painted plaster by LaMode Studios Inc. ©1938 Walt Disney Enterprises. Lamp depicts Donald Duck w/head turned to one side and holding a book, his incised name on front of base. While not marked LaMode, we have offered regular lamps in this style from LaMode, this the first we've seen of this rare night light version in our 50 years. Night light has been rewired and works. Night light has even lt. aging w/some small paint nicks/chips to Donald's shirt, hat and edge of bill. Base has .5" flake by Donald's foot and tip of his tail is broken off. VG/Fine overall. This night light is much rarer than the standard lamps produced by this company.
