Item Description
10.75x37.5" music store advertising sign for Ludwig Vistalite drums, a line of acrylic drums produced by the Ludwig Drum company, and introduced in 1972. The name Vistalite refers to the translucent plastic that the shells were made out of. Vistalite and acrylic offered a synthetic alternative to wood shells and were popularized by rock drummer John Bonham of Led Zeppelin. Sign capitalizes on this popularity w/image of long-haired rock band w/"Tequila Sunrise" color scheme drumset at left and "Stripe Up The Band" text. Sign has two vertical folds as issued and is Exc. Great day-glo colors.
