Item Description
12.25x19.5" die-cut cardboard standee w/easel back and dimensional pop-up feature has photo image of Sammy Davis Jr. seated behind set of Hohner "Sonor" drums at center. Released in conjunction w/the 1964 Broadway play "Golden Boy" starring Davis as a young man from Harlem who, despite his family's objections, turns to prizefighting as a means of escaping his roots and finding fame and fortune. Standee text reads "Hohner Sonor Drums Salutes Sammy Davis - Star Of The Broadway Musical Hit 'Golden Boy'." Davis was Tony-nominated for his performance. Standee shows moderate wear w/moisture staining and two heavy vertical creases w/age spotting to drum bkg. VG overall. Rare.
