Item Description
Lot of two original issue calendars and rarely seen salesman's sample calendar, each featuring same photo of Marilyn Monroe as she posed for the famous "Golden Dreams" nude photo originally taken by Tom Kelley in 1949. 12x16" calendar w/metal strip at top and complete 1954 pad attached at bottom has 11.5x12.75" image area. "Essex Diner" Essex, MD imprint at top. Scattered wear as rolled. Fine overall. 10x16" calendar w/complete 1963 pad has 7.75x10" image area and "Rockwood Park & Tavern" Frederick, MD imprint above calendar pad. Some scattered handling wear w/upper left corner stain, but o/w VF. 12x16.5" sample is mostly image w/"Brentwood Inn" Dundalk, MD imprint at top. Top right corner has some moisture staining w/some corner foxing at bottom. Scattered handling creases but Fine/VF overall.
