Item Description
7.25x8x6" tall all tin litho free-wheeling pull toy w/built-in key by Nifty. ©1924 King Features Syndicate, Inc. Barney Google is depicted atop a scooter while Sunshine rides Spark Plug. These two pieces have platform bases and are attached to the axles so that when the toy is pulled along, they move as if racing one another. Comes w/original string. As toy is pulled, one will jump ahead for a second and then fall behind and this action is continuously repeated. Spark Plug is depicted wearing his horse blanket w/"Spark Plug" name as well as "DeBeck" facsimile signature. Scattered tiny paint nicks/scratches. Barney has .5" split to tin hat. Painted wheels have paint wear from use. Litho remains bright and Fine overall. Scarce.
