Item Description
This ring is accepted in the premium hobby as a Buck Rogers issue c. 1953 as it was issued at the time when Sylvania television held a Buck Rogers license and they used the character extensively to promote their introduction of the Sylvania Halo light televisions. Premium creator Sam Gold (see auction section devoted to the work of Sam and his son Gordon) provided the Sylvania/Buck Rogers give-aways. Ring base is brass and adjustable with company "S" logo on each side. Ring top has pair of lightning bolts flanking a high relief white plastic light bulb replica which glows brightly in the dark. Bulb surface is marked with their full name as well as an "S" logo, both detailed in black coloring which is about 98% complete and much more complete than on most examples. Gorgeous full brass luster on the ring base. High grade and about as Mint as this ring can be found. Scarce.
