Item Description
Nice grouping of 12 glossy 1940s News Service photos, each 8x10" and showing women war workers assembling planes, welding, and doing weather observations among other things. These photos were distributed for use in newspapers, company publications, etc. to boost morale on the Homefront. Some are dated, one has information on reverse. Scattered handling wear/aging, one w/.25" spot of surface paper lift along bottom margin. Fine to Exc. overall. Great examples of real life Rosie the Riveters.
