2.75x3.25" ornate brass frame w/inner brass frame contains sixth plate daguerreotype showing interesting portrait of Civil War soldier, who does not wear regular uniform, instead opting for homespun shirt and floppy hat, which has 6th Corps badge. 1860s. Brass frame has some aged patina while inner frame remains bright. Daguerreotype has a few small spot on shirt. Fine/VF overall.
