Item Description
Original cardboard box w/"Dean's AI Dolls & Toys" illustrated lid label contains 12" tall doll w/velveteen body, face, pants and shoes. Hands are felt. Face has printed features as well as patent number on side of neck. Eyes came in two styles; this example features googly variety eyes. Pants have four tiny plastic buttons and there are remnants of Mickey Mouse's rubber tail attached to back of pants (w/1" piece included in box). Made in England by famous cloth book, toy and doll company Dean's Rag Book Co. Ltd. In addition to lid label, box has end label w/printed "Mickey Mouse" name. Box lid shows obvious wear w/three corner splits and 1.25" edge tear w/tape repair to interior. Box has oxidation w/some surrounding staining at staples. Circular price sticker on end w/label. VG overall. Doll has even lt. aging w/slight fade to Mickey's red pants. Some lt. dust soiling to Mickey's head/face. Stands well for display. Still Fine/VF overall. Rare doll in its equally rare box, both being the first we've offered of either in our 50 years.
