Item Description
Elaborate 15.75x18x2.25" deep frame contains pen and ink w/inkwash recreation of the 1940 concept sketch of The Joker's calling card by his co-creator - Jerry Robinson (1922-2011), initially designed incorporating the classic Joker playing card image w/Conrad Veidt's depiction of the titular character in the 1928 silent film "The Man Who Laughs." Art was created in 2006 and is inscribed "For Dan-" and has been signed by Robinson. Exc. Dan Makara Collection.
