Item Description
12" tall doll by Cameo of the famous Fleischer cartoon character w/composition head and body, jointed wood arms/legs. c. 1930s. Doll was produced in three different colors (see following item #1201). Black version offered here is the rarest. Complete "Betty Boop" heart-shaped decal on dress. Doll has typical crazing to body/dress, dress has had restoration overpaint. Face has lt. crazing and repainted area at back of head w/texturing where wet paint rested against material. Doll has some paint wear at neck and has been re-strung; stands well. Fine overall.
