Item Description
See previous item #1200. This is green version w/"Betty Boop" heart-shaped decal on dress. Wrist has string w/attached 2-1/8x2-7/8" tag/booklet w/"What Every Little Girl Should Know By Betty Boop" on front cover. Eight-page booklet features different illustration of Betty of every page along w/text about Betty's creation and Max Fleischer, her co-star Bimbo, being in cartoons and being made into a doll. Back has promotional text listing Betty as "A Paramount Star." Booklet has lt. even aging to covers and some scattered handling wear w/some creases. Fine/VF. Rare and first example of this tag/booklet we've seen in our 50 years. Dress decal has tiny flake and there is some lt. crazing on back of head. This is mentioned for complete accuracy only as this is by far the best condition example of any of these dolls we have sold, further enhanced by the rare booklet. Exc.
