Lot of four 5.5x8-5/8" to 6x8-1/8" booklets published for 1964-1966 and 1972 Reuben Awards dinner. Each features numerous specialty drawings by famous cartoonists including Hal Foster (Prince Valiant), Chester Gould (Dick Tracy), Harold Gray (Little Orphan Annie), Milton Caniff (image of three nude women) and artist biographies. Other characters/comic strips featured include - "Hi And Lois," Yellow Kid, "Li'l Abner" a/Kickapoo Joy Juice ad, Popeye, Mickey Mouse, Blondie, Archie, The Phantom, Donald Duck, "Peanuts, Pogo," Fred Flintstone, Porky Pig, Dennis the Menace and others. Booklets also feature ads for Gold Key and Harvey comic books, DC Comics (showing the first issues of "Action Comics, Batman, Superman, Flash Comics," Marvel Comics (w/large Captain America image surrounded by portraits of other Marvel characters including Spider-Man, Thor, Fantastic Four, X-Men, Iron Man and others), Dell Comics (w/illustration/image of "Nukla" character and comic and comics like "The Beverly Hillbillies" and "Get Smart") among other ads.
